Our School - Neuroscience

Neuroscience is the study of how we learn and develop.  In neuroscience lessons, we look at how we can help our brains, minds, and bodies to work together so that we can ‘be the best learners we can be!’

Neuroscience helps children in preschool and students in the school to develop emotional literacy and confidence in their learning through specific foci on memory improvement, directed attention and the role of emotion in improving or preventing memory production.  Children and students also learn about the importance of ‘brain care’ in relation to eating healthy foods, getting enough sleep and exercising.  They come to understand that the way you use your brain makes a difference
